My Story
Training Your Unique Kitty (or Kitties)
My name is Erin Abrahams, I'm a mom of two beautiful kids and a mom to 7 fur babies. I am a wife, a cat rescuer and my true love is working with cats, if you couldn't tell by how many kitties I have of my own. I’ve been training cats since 2018, when I Graduated from ABC; Animal Behavior College, with the better understanding on how a cat mind works and new techniques that I can share with my clients. Along with the training, I help run and manage Must Love Cats Rescue with some fantastic people. We are a small rescue with a big heart for our furry friends. I rehabilitate feral kittens and cats for the rescue and I was lucky enough to work with FOHA (Friends OF Homeless Animals) and Prince William County Animal Shelter and it has become my passion in life.

My Behavior Consulting work involves an intimate understanding of your animal’s natural and individual history. Your cat has plenty of potential to learn and understand commands, and my techniques will lay the foundation for you to build upon. I combine your needs and wants with the natural attributes of your cat.

I work closely with each one of my clients and their cats to implement my positive technique in the problem solving process. I know you have a busy schedule, so I will customize a plan that suits your lifestyle.

A recent medical evaluation including any relevant diagnostic testing performed by your veterinarian is recommended prior or soon after your consultation to help rule out any medical conditions that may be contributing to the behavior problem(s).

Advice on addressing issues such as introducing a new cat, jumping/climbing on forbidden areas, scratching furniture and other destructive behaviors, disruptive night-time activity, excessive vocalization, etc. - $75

HAPPY KITTY, HAPPY HOME EVAL.
I will visit your home to make sure that your cat has what she/he needs for a happy & healthy life, and to also help prevent common behavioral problems. I will take a look at your litterbox set up, the resources you've established for your cat, and make recommendations where things may need to be upgraded. You'll receive a written summary of everything discussed during the visit. This is a great consultation to get if you're preparing to add a new family member (e.g., a baby or new pet), or if you just want to make sure your cat has an environment in which she will love to be in!

NEW KITTEN / NEW CAT INFORMATION SESSION

Are you a new kitten / cat mom or dad? Not a problem! During an in-home visit or video conference, I will answer all of your questions about giving your cat what he /she needs. We'll discuss resources that need to be in the home (e.g. litterbox set up, food, toys, napping/perching spots, etc.), keeping your cat safe and secure, and address any questions you have about living with a cat. You'll receive a summary of that we discussed, 30 days of email support, and two 30 minute follow-up phone calls.

Additional behavioral training includes training of any one desired action the owner is requesting (high-five, fetching, speak, going into a carrier/crate on cue, walking on a leash etc.)

PAW-ON-PAW TRAINING SESSION
​
During a FUN in-home visit I will teach you how to give your cat the physical and mental exercise he/she needs, with a focus on play, positive reinforcement, and clicker-training. Mental &physical stimulation help prevent behavioral problems and improves mood. Great at any age!
